Conclusion
The patient continues 32 units of glargine per day and initiates CGM. At her next 1-month follow-up, she reports that her FBG has decreased to an average of 120 mg/dL. Using CGM, she was able to identify that her blood glucose was trending low in the midmorning and late afternoon because of smaller meals. She adjusted her diet and was able to correct the issue. Per her ambulatory glucose profile, her time in range is 85% with no reported lows in the last 2 weeks, and her repeat A1C is 7.2%.
