Follow-up – Case Continued  
The patient continues to titrate glargine per instructions to reach an FBG target of <130 mg/dL. At her 10-month follow-up, the patient reports taking glargine 26 units at bedtime in addition to her other medications. Her FBG average has decreased to 145 mg/dL, and she reports no symptoms of hypoglycemia. She has lost an additional 2 lb, current weight 203 lb, BMI 33.8 kg/m2.
