Conclusion
The patient continues degludec 38 units per day and records instances and causes of hypoglycemia in a log for 2 weeks. At her next 1-month follow-up, her FBG remained at an average of 130 mg/dL. Using a log, she was able to identify that her hypoglycemia symptoms occurred when she went too long between breakfast and lunch and was able to correct by adjusting her mealtimes. Per her AGP, her TIR is now 75% with no reported lows in the past 2 weeks, and her repeat A1C is 6.9%.
